Reopening
The Bullabulling Mine
GGG Resources PLC
While focused on delivering value to our shareholders, we are aware that our corporate responsibilities are also central to GGG's success. We focus on three aspects: the communities in which we operate, the environment and of course the health and wellbeing of our people.
Mining operations are by their very nature potentially hazardous. Extracting and processing huge volumes of rock involves the use of heavy equipment, explosives and chemicals. It also will involve very large vehicles and pieces of machinery. At Bullabulling it will require people sometimes to be working in very hot conditions.
It is our highest priority to create a culture where people can work safely in potentially hazardous conditions. It is our goal to create a safe working environment according to the industry's best practices, where our employees and contractors can perform their duties to the best of their abilities, certain in the knowledge that we have developed and implemented a number of practical safety management programmes.
Our directors have worked for some of the world’s largest mining companies, and have been instrumental in setting and applying the most stringent health and safety practices. As we develop Bullabulling, we will instill a safety culture among all our staff and contractors, where our employees are involved in all areas of safety management and responsible for identifying and managing risks in the workplace with our leadership’s support.
